Galapagos - Day 8 North Seymour Island/Baltra/Home  

The final day of the trip involved an early wake-up to experience the last island on our itinerary.  In North Seymour Island we were expecting a review of the previous eight days.  As advertised, we saw sea lions and many of the sea birds that we had seen on the previous islands.  However, this was the first and only time that we were able to see the male magnificent frigate with his red chest puffed out trying to attract females.  Another new sight was a sea lion that had just given birth, complete with a sally lightfoot crab eating the placenta.  Unfortunately the pup did not make it.  Here are some pics from the last day:
